Did you know there are over 300 references to bread in the Bible?  What is it about bread that has made it a symbol of life for centuries?  Bread has much to teach us about our own life and spiritual journey.  This workshop will show how the process of making bread corresponds to our transformation into Christlikeness (Gal. 4:19) – a process that takes time, patience, and understanding.

Specifically, we will look at the rhythms of simplicity, rest, balance, pain, and contentment as we grow and learn….all through the experience of making your own loaf of fresh Challah bread to take home. Bring an apron of you have one, otherwise we will provide one for you! This half-day retreat is limited to 10 bakers, but feel free to bring a partner at no additional charge and share the fun and your loaf of bread!
